In April we reported on a new research project planned for the area, now the invitation has gone out to recruit volunteers for the project- you could help make a difference in your community, and get training and a shopping voucher in return!

Muslim Community orgnaisation (MCO) in partnership with local organisations including Sneinton Alchemy and residents from the area aim to research and identify education, employment and training skills gaps in the Dales Ward (Sneinton, Bakersfield and Colwick).

The hunt is on for suitable volunteers (aged 18+) to be part of the Research Team. In return for their help with the project, volunteers will receive training and a £30 shopping voucher to cover their out of pocket expenses.

Volunteers:

 - Will undertake Face-to-Face completion of questionnaires in public locations such as libraries,
shopping areas and outside school gates.

-  Will need the ability to talk to people in a confident way, listen effectively, carefully and with patience, write
clearly, to record accurately what people say.

Volunteer informal interview meeting: Thursday 23rd May - 12.30 to1.30pm
