A big day in the Sneinton Calendar was disrupted by heavy snow fall and freezing temperatures on Saturday- with several large events being cancelled.

The much anticipated Sneinton Market relaunch has been postponed for a sunnier day, the resident-led Prettier Whittier clean up day became a planning session at the Greenway centre over hot soup, and the Preloved Bazaar at Iona School was also hit by the weather.

Do not despair though- the preparations and commitment of local residents and organisations will be put back into future events- when spring does finally return.
