Sowing Sneinton are to revisit their successful woodland project at Dale Terrace, off Sneinton Dale, on 5th November 12-4pm. They would welcome your practical help and support on the day.
Suzannah and Donya of Sowing Sneinton say:
"Many thanks to those of you who came to see us at Sneinton Festival, and especially those who helped build the beautiful insect hotels with Park Ranger, Steve Doughty.
We're going to have Steve's help once again, to put the insect hotels in the woodland (on Sneinton Dale, between Akbars and the Garage).
We're also going to be putting in a few last plants, and giving the place a bit of a tidy.
So come along and join us, and help put your handiwork amongst the plants and trees. Or put in a plant. Or just drop by to say hello.
The woodland has had such a warm response from everyone, including winning a Silver Award from Nottingham in Bloom for Spaces for Nature. We'll keep adding bulbs and plants here and there, til nature takes its course and does the rest for us.
So come and join us on:
Saturday 5th November
12-4pm
Dale Terrace (aka The Woodland), Sneinton Dale
Come for a bit, wear sensible (and warm!) clothes, and bring a flask if you like. The more the merrier!"
