Congratulations to Sowing Sneinton, who have scooped another award for their work! At the St Anns and Dales Volunteer Achievement Awards on 28th September, the local plant and gardening group took the award for Neighbourhood Improvement Project of the Year.

Sowing Sneinton have had a great impact on the streets of Sneinton, cheering up some of the neglected patches of ground on Sneinton Road and Sneinton Dale and transforming them into beautiful public gardens. Always welcoming and cheerful on planting days, Suzannah and Donya have recognised the hope that can spring from local initiative and involvement with our public spaces. Most of all, they have just got out there and done it!
