Residents from across Sneinton won awards at the 2012 Volunteer Achievement Awards hosted by the Renewal Trust last week. Congratulations to STOP (Sneinton Tenants Outreach Programme)- pictured - won the award for best Neighbourhood Improvement Project of the year for their work at King Edwards Park. SEND music project won an award in recognition of their outstanding Services and Support to Volunteers. And Stephen Brearley of STARA (Sneinton Tenants and Residents Association) was uncharacteristically in the limelight, deservedly winning the 'Invisible Volunteer Award' for people who work tirelessly behind the scenes.
