Sneinton Market had planned a major relaunch last week but we had to wait until Easter Saturday for the results thanks to the unseasonal snow. Blizzards undoubtedly takes the wind out of an outdoor market's sales but the market this week was as imaginative and varied as the weather.
In sunshine and snow flurries, were to be found: - Fresh fruit and veg- as always an excellent choice at rock bottom prices
- Post Office Garden: jams & jellies, honey, herbs and flowering bulbs.
- Beccy’s Global Kitchen – Greek flavours this week
- Pick’s organic meat burgers and bacon cobs and organic fresh meat.
- Household & cleaning
- Clothing
- Gifts made by local makers including the Crafty Cat Collective and Kitapilla
- A display by The Well Wishers about St Ann's (or Robin Hood's) Well (see picture below of a stag's skull from their stall!)
