The first weekend of the festival turned out beautiful - with three events to choose from

It's Sneinton Festival's 30th Anniversary: the quality of the first weekend's events suggest it may be a classic.

On Saturday Iona School on Sneinton Dale held a Summer Arts Festival with creative workshops and live music.

Meanwhile, on Hermitage Square, Sneinton Bikers along with Sustrans Nottingham and the Hub Cafe held a free cycling event- including bunting making on a 'Tour de France' theme.

Then on Sunday, Colwick Woods held it's 10th annual Gala, with over 1000 people attending!
