A new planning application has been submitted for the redevelopment of the Direct Auto Repairs site on Sneinton Dale near Green's Mill. We reported last year on plans by the Dar-Us-Salam mosque, currently operating from a semi-detached house at 41 Sneinton Dale, to redevelop the site. Now the building has been totally redesigned with a new facade on to the street featuring a polished stainless-steel corner feature. The bulk of the development, which is located in the middle of the Old Sneinton Conservation Area, has also been reduced by burying parts of the building below street level. The application has been submitted by architect Asaad Raoof. You can view the full planning application via the Nottingham City Council website, and comment using the 'comment on application' link at the bottom of the page. |
