These are the first images released of a planned housing development on former industrial land at the bottom of Trent Lane, Sneinton. The Trent Basin development has the potential to relink Sneinton to the River Trent by improving the riverside and the walkability of Trent Lane.
There will be a consultation event for the public at Nottingham Racecourse Owners and Trainers Suite, on Tuesday 3rd September 2013, 4.30-8.30pm. For more details of the event see the developer's website. You can also find out more about the proposals and the vision- if you can't make it to the event please check it out online and let them have your comments. ![]() ![]() The Park Yacht Inn at the end of Trent Lane was once a pleasure beach, with boats running along the Trent delivering pleasure seekers to the area. The area developed into an industrial site, which in recent years has been blighted by the closure of businesses, demolition of buildings and general uncertainty about the future. The success of this development project and the opportunity to improve things for the people of Sneinton as a result is really important- the consultation event is our opportunity to find out more and let the developers and architects know our needs and our ideas.
