Let there be (new) lights

posted 6 Jan 2013, 15:47 by Unknown user   [ updated 6 Jan 2013, 15:47 ]

22,000 street lights are being replaced around Nottingham by a private company who will take on maintenance of the lights from the City Council- and streets in Sneinton will be some of the first areas to get the new lights.

The programme will take 5 years in all, but the streets listed below will get new lights in January. According to the Council's FAQ webpage, the contractor will consult with residents on the design and placing of lights, and heritage areas such as Sneinton's Conservation Area will get special treatment.

You can check when your street is due to get new lights on the PFI Contractor's web site.
