On completing the programme participants will have a graduation ceremony to recognise their achievements and hard work and they’ll get a signed certificate from the Prime Minister! The whole programme is intended to build confidence, make friends, discover and enhance valuable skills and attitudes to help young people to see themselves as valuable assets to their own community. It will also enable them to shine when it comes to starting their career at either university or in full employment. It's £40 to sign up but bursaries are available for low-income families. The scheme runs for 4 weeks over the summer with several start dates available in July and August.
