On the 20th August, the heads of the Big Lottery Fund and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation visited Sneinton as part of a fact-finding mission hosted by Locality and CoCo to see how community organising works on the ground. We had good feedback from the visitors: From Dawn Austwick CEO Big Lottery: It was interesting to see the work that organisers are doing at the grassroots and to have the opportunity to take part in the door knocking, so please do pass on my thanks to your organisers and volunteers.
