An incredible transformation of uncared for and unused allotment space is now nearly ready for the community of Sneinton to share, plant fruit and vegetables, share food, have BBQs and most of all for our community to connect and share experiences to nurture and grow together.

Andrew Brew initially saw the potential with the allotment space. Andrew identified a passionate and skilled gardener who has a strong vision to create a family orientated environment; this passionate individual is called Stevie Doig. Stevie and his family has put a lot of time, hard work and commitment into making the Sneinton Dale Allotment a space for our community to share and enjoy.

Stevie and his family have free range chickens that frequently lay fresh eggs. They have planted the following vegetables of which 75% will be donated to the community of Sneinton: 3 varieties of lettuce, leeks, aubergines, potatoes, beans, cauliflower and sweet corn has been planted. A harvest festival is in the planning.

Stevie, his family and supporters of this project have put a lot of time and commitment into the development of the allotment with little resources.

WE NEED KEEN GARDENERS WITH TOOLS WITH THIS LEVEL OF COMMITMENT TO GIVE A HELPING HAND!
