"I got an Alchemy Fund grant which paid for getting a catering unit constructed for my catering and training company. On top of the funding itself, Alchemy offered support, pointed me in the right direction and to the right contacts. The grant was not sufficient to get the unit completed, and with the recession kicking in, I’ve been unable to raise the rest of the funds. Because the unit is not complete at the moment I work through training companies, and when I get the occasional request for a training session through Feed Ya Faces I have to hire a hall."
